The second time using this companies service I wasn't very sure about using them again after being asked to verify my identify & multiple wallet/exchange transaction histories via email before my transaction would be processed just to exchange to assets between my own private wallets.. given I've worked my assess off for awhile now just to afford the opportunity to invest in currencies I honestly was way less then impressed at the time, the difficult that suddenly became involved simply preparing all the information required for not only the standard identification type documents (no big deal) but more so the aspect of being forced to reveal my personal and exchange wallet public addresses, their associated transaction histories and also my fiat deposit histories within various exchanges to demonstrate where the finances came from... having to prove my legal ownership + my means to acquire what is understood to be a decentralised asset I found to rather confronting unfortunately as I'm a bit of an anarchist and enjoy the concept of keeping my identity to myself and any crypto-wallet addresses seperate to any identities if its at all possible! Maybe it is because I work hard, pay my taxes and I don't engage in any type of illegal activities so given the transactions $ value was a relatively small in comparison to what is regularly moved throughout the crypto space (less then 0.5-1 BTC) the experience was almost infuriating and I was pretty short in my response with Changelly's staff who had to correspond with me.. sorry about that guys.. I can say now however, that I decided to give this company one more chance simply due to the professional manner in which their staff conducted themselves in dealing with me, a rather p****d off customer... I have continued to use this service since on a number of occasions now despite swearing I wouldn't not so long ago and hey for its actually worth, I might still resent have to provide them with my personal info a little bit but it's done now and it's actually been an absolute breeze to use ever since, simple interface to manage, transactions are processed faster then what it takes me to personally move cold stored assets to an exchange and trade myself, their pricing structure is perfectly reasonable as well to a point it hasn't been anything noticeable to date. So, despite the personal intrusion and initial difficulty involved in the experience I've described I am actually more the happy to take the time to write this review and let anyone who wants to find an honest review about their service need look no further because one thing anyone can agree on is this - it takes a special type of business and the people it employees to operate as i understand they are legally required to comply to but to still have a business despite risking being more trouble then it was worth from the get go to a new customer and then still retaining that customer afterwards simply because the provide such a effective platform and backed their value up not but empty words but by providing super capable staff who obviously are very dedicated to being successful and also making their business also is nothing less then an impressive accomplishment to pull off just in order to continue operating and thats why the earned this review from myself because the truth of my experience with them and this message it is actually pretty simple -I have been so impressed by Changelly since despite having sworn once I'd never use them again after the second transaction, they're service is literally that good and so is the employee or dealt with me and change my mind, thanks Changelly!

I've had quite a good experience with changelly.com considering the funds were put on hold, it took a little longer than anticipated but dealt with very professionally.I wanted to exchange 6500 XRP for BTC, a relatively small amount. After sending my XRP to the site, the status went from exchanging to on hold. I was required to send any evidence of ownership of the coins and the origin, along with a photo of my passport.First I sent a photo of my passport and my driving licence, just to be sure. I thought this may speed up the whole procedure. I informed them that the origin of these coins was from them, changelly over a year ago.I quickly received a reply requesting screenshots of the transaction as it was with them. Although I didn't have any screenshots, I could provide them with details of the purchase the XRP, the ether address that the payment had come from and the ripple address that had received the XRP, I still have the private key for both of these. I was also asked to take a selfie of myself with an attachment they sent me. A black sign with some white text on it, which I did.Regarding the transaction on hold. XRP to BTC, the XRP had come from the very same address that had received the XRP from changelly over 1 year ago so it was easy to see I was the legitmate owner of these coins.All in all, not a bad experience at all, It did take longer than expected but considering all the hype about funds on hold taking days and weeks to clear, I'm happy my transaction only took a few hours and now I have confirmed my identity, I am now whitelisted and won't need to go through this procedure again.I must thank the changelly security team for a swift and painless experience.

99% of swaps done without a hitch. In a few small cases there was an error but was dealt with promptly by support. Better spread than Shapeshift.
