I thought I was loosing all my money through changelly but they did the right thing in the end and sent my transaction through. here is the story:I first used changelly, probably, 3-4 years ago. This was before they were doing kyc and I am from the US. Once they started doing kyc, I already had an account with changelly so they didn't know I was from the US (they didn't ask when I first signed up). I also didn't not know that changelly has decided not to accept transaction from US citizens.2 days ago (not knowing that I cannot use changelly), I decided to change my crypto into paxg (gold). I sent a test transaction of about $1,000 and it went through fine. Then I sent 5 transactions of about $50,000 a piece. Every transaction was put on hold about 10 minutes after I sent them. Changelly asked me to provide kyc so I sent my US passport (I still didn't know I could not use their services). Once they saw my passport, they told me I couldn't use the service - I totally freaked out... I started emailing changelly security and after about an hour of going back and forth - they wanted receipts from when I first bought my crypto and bank statements. I was not using the same bank so I couldn't give them those and my receipts from crypto.com (where I bought a lot of the crypto) did not come close to the amount that I was trying to transfer. I sent over they crypto.com receipts that I had and they decided to let my transactions go through but did cancel my account. I think changelly did the right thing because I created and account before they were doing kyc and they understood that I didn't know I was doing something against their terms and conditions. The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 is because they wanted receipts from when I purchased my crypto - That is a little ridiculous in my opinion. that fact that I sent it to them should be good enough to know that it is mine AND (this bothers me) they should have just reversed the transaction if they were worried about my crypto. I talked to them for at least an hour and a half before they processed my transactions... Just return the crypto if you have an issue.In conclusion, changelly and the person I was emailing was very nice and helpful. I think if you have a problem, they will do their best to fix it - It may take some time is all.
