We are a licensed hedge fund. We sent some coins (value $1m) to Changelly, and after 3 days they are still holding our coins, stating that they must complete "KYC & AML" procedures. This despite the fact that we already completed these procedures in 2018, and made over 50 high volume trades through them. We sent again the complete DD package, but they completely ignore our emails, and keep answering with the same standard text. They also ignored our request to return the coins if they are unable to complete those supposed procedures. They proved to be highly unprofessional, and we will no longer do business with them. They used to provide a good service, but evidently that’s no longer the case.There are much better exchanges out there.Update: they completely stopped answering our emails.After another 24 hours this is what they wrote:“Your applications are being reviewed. When there are some updates, you will be contacted.Thank you for being patient and reasonable!”Always the same copy/paste, no answers to my questions.Is it unreasonable to ask questions to someone who is holding $1m belonging to you?New update in reply to Changelly: all the documents (already provided in 2018) were immediately sent again 3 days ago to you. We sent you the corporate documents, fund license, passport of the UBO and even the fiat to crypto trade reports from the OTC brokers used to buy BTC (Cumberland and Circle). The BTC wallet used to send you the coins is the same we have always used for trading with you. You are simply finding excuses to keep $1m. The matter is being reported to the competent authorities as you have misappropriated our funds and caused us significant damages. You are a disgrace for the crypto community. You just hide behind “KYC&AML” to misappropriate clients’ funds. Don’t even try the excuse that you are “abiding to the law”. You are either completely incompetent or SCAMMERS. The following questions sent to the Changelly “Security & Anti Crime Department” remain unanswered:1. Confirmation that you are in possession of the btc sent;2. Explanation as to why the transaction has been “flagged by your risk scoring system”;3. Explanation as to why the USDT has not been sent to destination yet;4. Explanation of what your “AML & KYC verification” consists of;5. It would have been easier to communicate instead of forcing us to even go to police.

I've used them for a while and always got what I expected.Yes, you pay for the service, but that's business. That's why they are here. They don't do conversions for free, and nor should they.The costs are present clearly before conversation, so you know what's involved. Recently, I attempted a conversion, but forgot the memo/reference. Meaning it would have been lost.Support was quick to address the issue, and did a full refund (minus network fees). They were always clear on expectations, and when deviated, they were quick to explain reasons.I truly recommend them for crypto conversion. Just be aware that this is a business, and you should expect to pay for it. However, they are well priced and we'll worth it.

In my opinion they are scamming so many people out of their hard earned money. In the process of swapping coins to make money this exchange cost me 0.5 Eth. Here I was swapping ETH to USDC when it was high and then swapping back when ETH was low by $200 every time per coin. Was using 10 ETH each time. Their numbers on their rates are completely wrong to the market by HUNDREDS. I should have been up by a lot right now but instead I'm down. To in a hurry to buy and sell and they take advantage of that. Doesn't matter if it's a fixed rate or floating rate. Customer service reply fast but make it seem like there's nothing wrong on their end and won't admit it. Done with these clowns.Edit to their reply: I'm able to have my opinion. To me you guys are scammers. Yes I screwed up not checking the price on your rates, but your rates shouldn't be off by HUNDREDS of dollars to the actual market price. In your email replies back and forth to me you were telling me it was a floating rate and I should have used a fixed rate then after told me I should have picked a fixed rate and not a floating rate. You flip flop back and forth trying to make it like there's nothing wrong on your end. I just wanted it fixed so no one else got screwed when trying to quickly do the same thing I did. Weather it was a fixed rate or a floating rate you never should ever be off by HUNDREDS of dollars when the price of that crypto hadn't gone up or down in price by more than $50 in the multiple hours before and after the transaction.

Changelly is one in a million exchanger which does it's work expeditiously. Awesome support and excellent communication.

I have been using Changelly since Sept 2020. Their website is very user-friendly. I was added to their AML Whitelist in Sept 2020, and just now passed their second verification and I am whitelisted again. However, what I wish to share is that there was a pending transaction that was not consummated pending the required verification. I did not follow up the verification process at the time, and only yesterday did I have the opportunity to complete this second verification. The verification process went very smoothly, and Chaneglly completed the transaction at the original quote, even though the market moved strongly lower than the agreed price at the time they requested the verification. They could have taken advantage of this mispricing, but they did not. So, I say loudly and very decisively, that Changelly is a very honest exchange, and I will continue to use their service.

I put down wrong memo but they fixed it. Now I get higher rate than previous because of the time I had to wait for the transaction to be processed manually

I forgot to place the extra id on a transaction and I thought I lost my money, well I contacted Changelly support and filled a case for a refund. It took around 12 business days to get my case resolved. Would definitely keep working with this company.Thanks!
